Yep, if you have a blockage in your toilet just pour it in and it should clear it for you LOL. Sorry, I could not resist. The MSDS shows it as only 44% sulfuric acid assuming the rest is water you may have some issues. You really want to aim for higher purity sulfuric if you can. Having said the above, if this is the only thing you can get then maybe give it a try and see what happens, I am sure someone will have tried it. |

Ace Hardware carries Rooto drain cleaner. It comes in both sulfuric acid and sodium hydroxide. I think the Rooto sulfuric acid is about 94% pure.
