The cheap side of me kicked in at Target today. They had two jugs of dry pH down powder marked down to 56 cents each. I do not have them with me so I can't quote from the packaging. I'll check and see what the chemical make up is and then post it.

Any ideas what it could be good for?

First guess is that it's a powdered acid, like used for swimming pools. One possible use might be for cracking soap.

I wish. I think it is Sodium Bisulphate or something like that. I will check when I get home.
