I am new to all of this bio making. I have tried to make 4 different batches with only 1 success on the first try. The rest were fails but did make after the second attempt. I am using 20" methanol with 11 grams of koh per liter of oil. The titration is a 4. My oil is old it has been collected for 6 months. I also when making am getting about twice the glyerine levels that I should. Any advice?

What acid recipe are you using?

i've never used any acid method just the standard recipe 20% methanol with 7 grams of koh as a base with 1 gram to each number of titration.

Dcarr this is the section on acid esterification, that is probably why Fabricator asked what acid recipe.
