The approximate molecular weight of KOH is 56 gm/mole.

A 1 mole solution (1 normal or 1 N) of KOH is 1 molecular weight of KOH in 1 liter of water or 56 gm of KOH in 1 liter.

Therefore, a 0.1 N solution of KOH in water is 5.6 gm of KOH in 1 liter of water.
