can anyone tell me if you can overprocess the first stage in an acid/base reaction?
if it got to its lowest titration value, at any point beyond that would it turn back the other way?

no you cannot run the acid stage too long...
I've done some on the order of 72hrs..

if you use too much acid the titration will rise..
