Does anyone have experience of or know anyone who has used MSA instead of sulphuric acid to process higher titrating oils. From what little I have read it appears that it is much less corrosive and produces a better yield and less water is produced in the process. How readily available is it and what sort of cost compared to sulphuric acid.
