-Purchasing a used 12V forced air diesel heater, as a dodge to building codes- not going to tell them about the woodstove. Will experiment with various blends of combustible substances, maybe someone out there already has????

Insurance companies usually reject claims if non certified heating equipment is used or if one uses solid fuel appliances that are not reported. It's easy to burn VO-sawdust mixes in an airtight, controlled combustion woodstove.

I would be surprised if the heater works with BIO or SVO. My experience has not been good with substituting fuels in burner systems. There is a whole group dedicated to running these in standard furnace burners, they use modified burners with a small compressor to atomise the fuel as well as a heater block to raise the temps to the 160F range. The ones that use standard pressure burners use a heater block as well but tend to be very maintenance intensive as they coke up a lot. If you can try the heater first on BIO or SVO before buying it might save some headaches. It would be great if it worked to have an off the shelf heater which actually functioned properly.
Good Luck and Cheers Dan
