"Drops" is nearly meaningless-- drops are dependant on orifice size. How many drops per ml is your dropper ?? ReM B100-- 2004 Motorhome CatC7 1987 Mercedes 190D 2.5 Turbo(possibly for sale) 1983 VW Pick-up (Caddy) 1.6 Turbo Southern Oregon |

So your sources titrate at a 2.5. Sounds like good oil to me.

Okay, thanks. I guess I shouldn't be comparing it to brand new oil. My first batch I ran came in at .5 so then I thought I was going to have to dump the rest. I have had so much trouble trying to secure used oil. If it's not the SRS technology, it is the "night raiders".

I titrate similar to the method you are using but instead of counting drops I weigh the sample before and after titration. From an earlier post you mentioned you had reloading scales. With scales that can measure a drop this would improve consistency.
