7 is not that high. Just make sure your oil is dry.

Yes, 7 is the titration, 5 is the base. I personally have not converted oil with that high of a titration, my "record" is 7 using KOH, which is less. But you should be able to get a decent conversion provided your oil is dry. Hopefully someone with more direct experience can respond. I'd run acid base on it. You get a higher conversion rate and less glycerol to dispose of (if this is a consideration). Depending on how wet/dirty your oil is, 5ml titration is about the threshold for easy base only. Acid-base allows me to deal with some of the 13-14ml titrating oil I get without a problem.

Can you tell what kind of acid should I use and how to make the acid base? Lets Say I have 110 gallons of 12 ml titrating oil...
