I have used pH meters in the past in other industries with great results. Why are they bad in biofuels? I am a TOTAL NEWBY, just asking.

Yes, they work well in other applications. However, a pH meter was designed for aqueous solutions. They do not work well in oil. All those other times you used one, it was a water solution, right? Titration is quick, easy, accurate and a whole lot less money than an electronic pH meter. HTH Smile
