I went to the grocery store today to purchase Red Devil Lye well its not Lye based anymore apparently. What other products can I use for the Lye? Thanks

Try finding Roebic crystals I think Lowes might carry them. Make sure you get the ones that are 100% NaOH.
You can also try ebay or other online venders.

Roebic drain cleaner @ Lowes. Chemical name Sodium Hydroxide.

is the whole chemical made of Sodium Hydroxide or are the other chemicals with it I've found other Drain Cleaners that have Sodium Hydroxide in it but they also contain other materials. Is this going to be a Chemical or Powder(Grain)?

It should be 100% sodium hydroxide. Don't use anything unless it is 100% pure. It should be a powder or a granual.

I was checking out drain cleaners lastnight and the ones I saw at WalMart were NaOH & KOH mixtures. Since these are both options, could they be an option when combined together?

Or should I search HomeDepot and OSH, since we have no Lowes here....yet.
