I am finding that I am getting a good separation of glycerine and the biodiesel. I then wash it 4-5 times and let it sit 2-4 hrs and then let it clear which it does. I then pump it into a plastic trough and circulate it for about 10-12 hrs to dry it. I am getting an emulsion. I took a quart of this stuff and nuked it in the microwave to about 90 F, good and warm on your finger.and let it set. I now have 2 layers again. A clear layer and a wispy to milky looking layer on the bottom. Is this a soap layer on the bottom or what? If I heat it up it disappears but as it cools it re-enters the picture. What can I do to clear this up? Maybe I am short on the lye end of things back in the processing part. Anyways , can someone point me in the proper direction. Thanks, Dan

I KNOW THIS IS AN OLD POST BUT I'VE SEEN THIS ALSO AND FEEL THIS HAS CAUSED ME SOME TROUBLE BY GETTING INTO MY FUEL TANK IN A HIGH CONCENTRATE BECAUSE THE SMALL AMOUNT OF UNIDENTIFIED "STUFF" HAD COMPOUNDED AS HE CONTINUED TO TRANSFER FROM HIS DRYING BARREL TO HIS FUEL STATION BARREL OVER TWELVE MONTHS TIME IT HAD SETTELED THREE INCHES OR MORE THICK OT HIS PICKUP TUBE I PUMPED IT INTO MY TRUCK AND CLOGGED MY FUEL FILTER IN ABOUT 45 MIN. I THINK IT BURNS FINE BUT IT SEEMS TO NOT PASS THROUGH THE FILTER.CAN THIS "MILKY STUFF" HARM MY ENGINE
