GL's thread has become quite large. Fascinating, but large. Is the idea mature enough yet to create a how-to in the tutorial? Would it be prudent to incorporate (elements of) the two-stage process into this?

If it isn't broke, you're not trying hard enough.

I was also thinking that Graham's method should be written up for the CBT and the Jan Warnqvist 3/27 test could be another good article too.

I agree.

While I have seen GL's processor first hand and printed out all the documentation I can find, I'm still a little lost on some things as I gather parts for my 80 gallon unit.

The Powersmoke
1986 Ford F250 4x4 6.9L diesel
Hypermax Turbo, C6 Automatic with shift kit, cowl induction (intercooler on the list), Frantz oil cleaner, Synthetics in diffs, transmission and transfer case. Gear Vendors overdrive installed. Mobil Delvac 15W40 oil with Powerstroke oil filter for 11 quarts oil capacity. Motor Silk Boric Oxide friction reducers in engine and transmission. More mods on the way.

1973 Dodge Monaco "Elwood", eventually to be converted to run on methane (biogas).

Currently building a 'bio-bus', a 40' diesel bus with a massive onboard GL-type reactor with onboard workshop and diesel generator. Possible biodiesel classes may be taught as soon as the bus is done.

And other wheeled secret weapons.

Graham,

I have read up on some (maybe most of your work) and am impressed. The biggest issue I have is keeping track of the timeline and what the current state of the art process is.

For example, I have read posts about the high voltage separation and they imply that the 5% water wash isn't needed with it. I have not tried any of the voltage experiments myself.

Do you have a schematic for your current setup?

Thanks,
Andy

Thanks,
Andy
