Girl Mark mentioned during the class in Atlanta that she preferred a metal wash tank. I was thinking that I'd go with this advice.

However, the kit that came from b100 has instructions for putting together the kit with a plastic drum.

Other than the difficulty of cutting the bottom off a steel drum, how would installation of the plumbing be different on a steel drum versus a plastic one?

Does anyone have any instructions for installing the b100supply kit with a steel drum?

Rick, thanks for our phone conversation! I noticed you mentioned the saltiness of the wash water.

That got me thinking about the UNH article on growing oil-producing algae in salty water.
