If you take off fuel filler cap -do you have a vacuum in the tank?I had this on a peugeot-vent pipe was blocked, and when you stopped vacuum pulled all the fuel out of the I/P-Does it still happen if you run engine with the filler cap off or loose?-otherwise you have air in your system and it needs further bleeding-or something more serious

Sounds like you have a fuel restriction in the line.
Lots of troubleshooting info at tdiclub.com. Look for 'How to troubleshoot low power" specifically fuel related. Many times it's the fuel tank sender/pickup is clogged in the fuel tank. If you see air bubbles in the line all the time, it would be an air leak, usually the O-ring at the "T" valve on the fuel filter. 1-tank Elsbett VW TDI , 115,000 SVO miles. http://ctbiodzl.freeshell.org/votdi.html and a '92 F-250 with only a FPHE |
