The Germans have far more common rail experience and several CR engines have run SVO for over 100,000 miles. If you can translate with Google try searching www.fmso.de 'Datenbank' for M-B and Audi ,VW TDI's with CR systems running SVO.
Obviously, if they can run SVO, B100 shouldn't be a problem from a viscosity perspective. Actually FWIR, the higher pressure in CR system yields better atomization of SVO ( and B100 ). 1-tank Elsbett VW TDI , 115,000 SVO miles. http://ctbiodzl.freeshell.org/votdi.html and a '92 F-250 with only a FPHE |
