The 2004 to 2008 has a different fuel system called Pumpe-Duese. Their aren't any known deficiencies running b100 with PD engines. A couple people reported seal failures in the high pressure lift pump. Also the fuel tank in-tank pump is a high failure rate item. Unrelated to bd usage, but one mechanic reported several failed pumps in Hawaii.
Here's one six posts below yours: http://biodiesel.infopop.cc/ev...4106403/m/2651009182 [You're going to have to spend 20 -30 hours online researching this PD stuff.] However the PD does haw two other faults that are much more likely to create expensive repair bills. tdiclub will have LOTS of info on the cam follower wear problem and the balance shaft wear problem. Don't post you want to run bd at tdiclub.com. Too many a__holes there. 1-tank Elsbett VW TDI , 115,000 SVO miles. http://ctbiodzl.freeshell.org/votdi.html and a '92 F-250 with only a FPHE |
