I am working on converting my 97 Ford PSD. I have been planning on having a return solenoid valve, returning diesel to diesel, wvo to wvo, and when purging diesel through to wvo. But, my question is all that necessary? If I take the precaution of never filling my wvo tank (a 75 gal aluminum tank off a semi) could I simply always return to the wvo tank? So, when running diesel to heat up the car it goes in the wvo, and then purging would simply be doing the same thing. The only risk I can imagine is if you overfilled the tank there would be a problem.
Hi...that should work but will increase your usage of diesel....
It would increase diesel use so much it would be cost prohibitive. Put in the valve.
