Check forklift companies.
Most engine parts for the datsun/nissan diesel forklift are shared with the 720 trucks. David Norwood 2001 F350 7.3 DI purchased new by me and i believe it is the first DI Ford experimented with and talked about on this forum. The single OEM fuel tank only. Updated 1/2009 . HOH for fuel line heat from tank to 12v lift pump. GPI/CIM-TEK spin on filterhead and 10 micron filter. Two 12v 36" heaters wrapped around metal fuel lines. One before add on filter and one before OEM filter.dttk44@bellsouth.net Cool weather mixes starting spring 2009. 100% vo to 65*. 5% K1 to 55*. 10% K1 to 45*. 20% K1 to 35*. 30% K1 to 10*. |

the part number is 12279-C8610
its a 2 piece you can replace it by just taking the oil pan off and pulling the rear main bearing cap. its pretty easy. the problem with the one piece type is that A> the engine needs to be pulled and B> even worse theres a metal piece that needs to be pressed off with a very special tool. I woulndt wan tot do the second one. |

Sorry cant help with the seal, but was wondering how you like the Datsun otherwise?
I have a chance to buy 2 of them, an '82 and '83 both diesels. Do they like Bio? Have any power? And are they not a bad fairly reliable engine? I think the boxes might be rusted on these so I might make a flat bed, that may lighten it up a little. Thanks for any advice. |
