Any difference dry washing with white oak vs. red oak?

I use neither,but if it is of any help,I have been using Chestnut since last summer and will soon be trying Ash-these are the logs I have been sawing up with a chainsaw-have had no issue with the Chestnut-seems any hardwood works

Both work well. Red oak is superior because of it's exceptionally open grain structure.
