Marvin,
I use a tub filled about 1/4 full of shavings, mix the BD into the shavings and give it a stir several times a day. I might let it sit for a couple of days prior to circulating it through more wood shavings attempting to drive off any methanol in solution. Once the soap has reduced to almost none, I send it through my resin columns and then final filter through 1 micron sock filter into 5 gallon containers. Some are using gravity feed and 55 gallon drums. Read the following threads and you should be able to come up with something. Check out this link: http://biodiesel.infopop.cc/ev...1001332/m/3081055582 And this one: http://biodiesel.infopop.cc/ev...521001332/m/22710751 There are plenty of other ones that are worthy of reading. I don'k think anyone has come up with the best way yet. I guess what works for you is the best way. |
