I've probably put about 500ish gallons through my 6'' purolite tower. The fuel coming out still seems to be soap free, but it's taking a great deal of pressure to push the biodiesel through the tower. My pump can barely get anything through and my gauge is reading 50-80psi. I've opened the tower at both ends checking for clogging, and I see nothing abnormal, other than the tower being completely packed my the purolite now. The fresh media didn't even come close when I installed it.

Is it time to change the media, or maybe a methanol flush? I had assumed the resin would last much longer than this.

it's my understanding that the dry wash media will double its initial volume when saturated...
