I built two 8 inch resin towers. I see talk of purging tower with good biodiesel. I am ready to start making biodiesel and I would like to know if I can fill resin towers with conventional diesel fuel to get the resin filtering process started.

I wouldn't try that. Do what is recommended by the resin manufacturer. I have heard of some using methanol as a backwash, but not petro diesel.

DO NOT PUT regular diesel through it.
