Hi,

Ive been reading other peoples posts about eco2pure and wood chips and sawdust etc but im a bit confused.

Eco2pure are supplying the machine for £2000 or so, but people here are making the thing them selves from the usual household items like dustbins etc.

Can anyone tell me how to make the dry wash system. What do I need, where do I place the eco2pure, how the process actualy works, how can simple wood chips etc clean the bio-diesel apart from absorbing water what else is involved?

Thanks people.

Woodchips is still pretty much experimental. In my experience letting the woodchips soak in the BD in a tub or large container with some agitation every so often will allow the chips to filter out much of the soap in about a day. I then filter the BD through woodchips suspended above my BD reservoir for about a day and then it goes on to the resin columns. I am sure this process could be faster if you allow your demethed BD to settle for a couple of weeks.
