I been searching the thread, looks like there aren't much information of how the wood chips dry wash tower is build.

Please share how you build the wood chips dry wash tower. I am talking about a (pvc or steal) tower with a pump.

need some details like:
-how many layers you put in the tower
-what do you use for top, low layers?
-your flow speed vs quantity of the chips?
-what kinda pump are you using?
-do you filter it again after the BD gets out of the tower?

Any information will be appreciated, i am a newbie for filter towers.

pirocop,

Check out this http://biodiesel.infopop.cc/ev...01332/m/22710751/p/1 thread.

There is no established method for wood chips -- only experimentation. Read all the links posted in this thread and you will gain a wealth of information. I doubt you will see written instructions for building a chips tower nor specific details on how much to use.

You see, there is virtually no profit to be made by providing what you want. I say virtually, because some people are actually paying for wood chips, but they could be free if you are willing to search for them.

There are photos of different towers on these threads and there are some who don't use a tower for chips. The school is still out on wood chips. We haven't even been using them for a year yet.

Take some time and glean as much information as you can stand from all the threads concerning wood shavings/sawdust/cellulose.
