Hi Gang... I have been reading over the articles on the CBT. What about adding the latest from the forum on glycerine pretreatment? For those who haven't seen this yet, some on the forum report that adding 5% glycerine (with the methanol still in it) to WVO will pull the water and tallows to the bottom of the barrel. This reduces water and also makes a fuel that is reportedly better in winter due to less tallows.

We tried stirring some glycerine into a bucket of waste glop oil and it seemed to clarify nicely. I would like to try more with this when the weather warms and we resume brewing.

I searched for the article you mentioned, but the only information I could find was quite different than you had suggested. Rather than adding glycerin to oil, the article states to add water to the glycerin/biodiesel mix in order to promote faster phase seperation.
