OK! WTF! Why would they put a fuel filter under the vehicle only blocked in by a front drive shaft and the trany cross member. This is the first time I have changed the filters because I just bought the Excursion. 2003 with a 6.0, I really dont think it will work trying to replace a filter when its 0 out. The one on top is no problem. Anyway, Here is my question. Has anyone tried to move the HFCM to the other side of the rail or put it any other spot to make it easyer to get at? Is it even possible? Mabye I could just bypass that stupid thing and put a different filtering system in!
Fuel in the arm pit for the last time.
