I am trying to install an electric fuel pressure gauge in my 2006 Ford F250 6.0. I am trying to utilize the test port on the upper fuel filter housing. I have purchased a M12 x 1.5 to 1/8 NPT adapter to convert the fuel test port to 1/8 NPT. The plug I removed from the test port seems to seal utilizing an o-ring. The m12 x 1.5 adapter has no provisions for an o-ring and freely threads into the fuel housing until it bottoms out on the adapter. I am afraid to even try the adapter because I feel there is no way for it to seal. Anyone with experience installing fuel pressure gauges in this vehicle that can help with suggestions and or recommended parts I would appreciate your help. Thanks.

I recently read on another forum that a flexable grease gun hose will work (available at TSC, Walmart, and hardware stores). Already 1/8 npt threaded on both ends. Rated for high pressure also.
