What Parts are you looking for? I know of 4 complete cars, bodys are not road worthy, in north eastern OH, I know of a person in Detroit that has many nos parts, engines, and cars, I have a good motor and trans setting in my garage. Let me know what you need and I will try to help.

Hello fellow diesel Escort owners,

I get my oil filters from NAPA, air and fuel filters from the internet and the Yahoo diesel Escort owners site has been very helpful with parts and technical info.

I have the opportunity to buy an 86 Escort wagon diesel and have a couple questions:

Does Ford still service these vehicles? Sounds like parts are hard to find.

How compatible are they with B100? I don't know much about the Mazda diesel Ford put in these vehicles. Indirect injection I'm assuming. Fuel lines probably need to be replaced. Any guidance is appreciated.

Ford dealers only rarely service these cars. You'll need to learn to do much of your own work (easy), and it would help to befriend a good diesel mechanic.
