well hopefully , if you can belive everything you read on this site , Merc ,VW ....mechanical injection inline pump system....keep away from all the new electronic fandanGo stuff ..
I think reading for years on cars that run best on bio..Is " keep it simple stupid " less computer intervension in the fuel system the better ....Inline pumps are a must --Ish with very few exceptions.... |

Anything with a 'D' on the back; common rail, turbo etc are all OK on good bio. The only type to avoid is the 'friday afternoon' example like your Peugeot; guess you were just unlucky.

I can personally vouch for the peugeot 306 1.9D
99 or before. Ive got two of the same model and have done 1000+ miles in each since I started with bio, with no ill effects whatsoever. You should find a decent 99 model with about 100k miles for around £1200 |

I have to agree with David although pugs are usually pretty good. Also the falure of one pump would probably be the cause of the second pump failure. I have been running an 02 Mondeo for over 2 years on b100 and am looking to sell that soon and run a tdci common rail. If the bio is good and car sound. Believe in bio, don't blame it.
