I got permission from Shaun to move threads from other forums (for those just joining us, the methanol recovery forum is "brand new"). I think it makes sense to move as many old posts as possible over here so that the information can be found all in once place.

Please let me know if you think that an old thread in the 'making biodiesel' or 'general biodiesel' or 'biodiesel equipment' forum should be moved here (just post a reply to the thread of your choice and I'll move it)

I know this is not helpful, but Anything to do with Methanol recovery/still making should be over here. It will make it more easier to locate. Do you need help finding threads (I usually am on here ALL day at work. I'm a paramedic so we have down time) I don't mind helping/sugessting topics.

you can post the URLs of what you find, as replies to this thread, and I"ll move them from there.

ALso, if you can stomach wading through yahoogroups archives (searches 50 messages at a time, ugh) there are some good ones at the groups.yahoo.com/group/biodieselbasics list from a few weeks ago, which we can at least post links to here I think.

I think there are a couple of threads from last year at the production section of forums.biodieselnow.com -Mike Briggs was plauying around with it in an Appleseed processor a while back with his co-op.
