Here's an idea for you ... If you pass your warm biodiesel thru a venturi, you can recirculate the same air thru your chilling condenser. You'll find this gives better recovery than injecting fresh air, because you would need an exit route for the air you put in, and that exiting air will invariably carry methanol off with it. So, just use a pump to recirculate the biodiesel in a closed loop, via a venturi. If you click on my 'Useful Linlks' below, choose the 1st item, for the EcoSystem, and that describes the setup. Only difference is, you will pass chilled water thru the condenser. Hope that helps, Graham. |

So you think I can remove methanol with a venturi as the fluid is pumped into the head area and then have a condenser at low temperature will draw the gas into the condenser? Interesting. Will try it an report back. Thanks AWK |
