Well, its almost time to deal with the backlog of glycerol from my biodiesel. My recovery still is just about completed.
Brewed using NaOH and drained the glycerol into cubees and 5 gal buckets. The stuff is in a solid state now.
Any suggestions as to the best way to liquify it so I can get it down the pipe without a huge mess?
Add water and warm it to 'room' temperature.
Cubies of glycerol make excellent thermal mass for the greenhouse.
I put my solid glyc cubies in the greenhouse for a couple of sunny days, gets it liquid again ready for pretreating my next batch of oil.
