About 8 months ago I read of a process to recover methanol that heated the glycerin and sent the heated gases through a sesame seed oil bath. From there it went to a cold water condenser and cooled as methanol. I lost the link. Does anyone know of the author for this?
yes..but not using sesame oil..
graham laming or GL..does this..
use the search..its there..
I don't use this method to recover methanol. I don't doubt that is works..oil and methanol don't mix
