Can I use this? I don't really know what the "ketone" part does to the process.

If you are talking about MEK, it is not methanol.

MEK is methyl ethyl ketone. A very nasty substance to use. The good thing is you can smell how toxic it is vs. methanol which can sneak up on you. I wouldn't try to use it for biodiesel. Besides it is expensive.

Thanks.

I bought some methanol online which was a bit expensive but I'm working on my first tank-size batch so I'm just testing right now anyway Smile
