Is there anyone recovering methanol for the leftover acid methanol solution. If not, what can be done with leftovers.

-you can put the acidic drainage into your byproduct from a previous base stage, it will be neutralized there and follow that with methanol recovery. Tom

What amount of acid/meth to base byproduct? Byproduct glycerin? Is there a way to track until neutral. Thanks David

to answer your question..
yes.. its what I've been doing since I built my still.
how much acid/base..doesn't matter not really trying to neutralize the base or the acid..

if you use a different indicator you can titration the methanol/glycerin mix to determine the ph
