The Future of Dodge is here.
I stumbled across this while browsing the web yesterday. (sorry, I was having issues with the Mexican links) http://www.fiatmexico.com.mx/es/autos/view?id=61 http://www.fiatmexico.com.mx/es/autos/view?id=63 http://www.fiatmexico.com.mx/e...STRADA_Adventure.pdf http://www.fiatmexico.com.mx/e..._Strada_Trekking.pdf The Mexican Version has a 1.8l, 110HP, Gasoline Engine. 26.5 mpg city, 36.7 mpg hwy Brazil has their "flex fuel" (alcohol) version. Argentina seems to have one similar to Mexico. I know that Fiat makes Diesel engines, but I don't see one in this pickup. 4 cab variants, I think. regular cab, 2 door extended cab, 2 door double cab, 2 door (short bed) double cab, 4 door (short bed) For now, getting one of the pickups into the USA with an engine would be a challenge. Perhaps one could import the rolling chassis only, and drop in a small Diesel, for example a VW Diesel. Well, the other option for an engine swap would be starting with a VW Saveiro (Brazil/Argentina) or VW Pointer Pickup (Mexico). Drop the stock engine, bring it across the boarder, and then put in one's choice of VW Engines. I think the Saveiro/Pointer Pickup has a longitudinal engine like the old VW Fox. And, of course, hopefully get it registered as an "assembled from parts" car. This message has been edited. Last edited by: keelec, |

That thing looks like a cross between a VW Golf/Caddy and a Subaru Brat rolled into one.
Nice looking though...
