Talk about land use impact . What about poking the earth with holes thousands of feet deep and fracturing the local water tables for petro oil? That's a different story? I just read last night about an Ohio gas driller where the Pa. DEP say they fouled at least 7 water wells in northcentral Pa. they caused methane gas to migrate into the underground water supply, fouling 2 wells with methane and 5 others with high levels of iron and manganese. The company is providing bottled water to the affected residents and paying for one family to stay in a hotel. This is whats happening on land what about in the oceans?

So, heatbeater, do we stop all drilling tomorrow because of mishaps? While nothing is risk free, drilling has proven to be a very safe process. Yes, every once in a while, things happen. but not often.

Face the fact that this world DEPENDS on hydrocarbon in the immediate future. If you don't believe that, have the utility companies disconnect your gas and electric and sell your car TOMORROW.

The question is how do we provide the world's energy needs with the least effect on the environment. As the world's population grows so will our energy needs grow and environmental effects. I shouldn't have used the mishap in Pa. to guage the whole petro industry . We have reached a comfort level that we don't want to give up.

Just wait till Swine Flu Part Two - will devastate the 3rd world while allowing Big Pharma to soak the U.S. and Western Europe on vaccines that don't even work and contain Thimerosal preservative made from mercury. Nice.

True. Many objectives for the NWO will be accomplished with this latest flu epidemic. We, I mean they, have been planning a total control grid for a long time, and seizing control of the food supply through monitoring livestock is just one of the objectives we, I mean they, have planned for you.

N'attribuez jamais à la malveillance ce qui relève purement de l'incompétence ( Napoléon)

Never ascribe to malice that which is adequately explained by incompetence. Napoleon Bonaparte
