The glyc is usually fresh, and still hot, around 40-50 degrees C, before the meth has been recovered...

Kind of like mist washing...just using hot/warm glyc.

Unlike water, the glycerine does not settle out cleanly to the bottom. You cannot suck from the bottom and use it to mist wash again.

Yes, guess you can look at it that way, Spraying in or I reckon even an old watering-can or shower-head-rose would do just as good a job--but you wouldnt want to re-circulate, The process doesnt seem to like too much agitation, just spray and leave alone works best Ive found...

The passage of the glyc down through the oil grabs onto excess water, tallows, and quite a lot of the particulate crud too, which settle out in a thick pale cruddy mess, leaving cloudy coffee coloured oil above, ready for processing, or leave longer in open top vessel to clear for WVO use--Great for recovering usable oil from stuff you may otherwise discard, or for improving the CFPP.

I am working on small test batches for this method of CP reduction and get a lower white layer in most cases but the upper layer is jelled. Am I adding to much glycerol, or how specific has it been found to be?

Glycerol is warm liguid, naoh, canola based WVO dry, 25% methonal for initial reaction non demethed glycerol.

Any help is appreciated as I am getting ready to go into production.

Thanks
Dale
