I need to make some more indicating solution and don't know how much phenolpthalein powder to add to the ethanol. Can someone help me out, please? I'd like to make a fairly strong solution.

Here is Tilly's World Famous (Dr. Pepper) Chopstick Titration Technique.

http://www.biodieseldiscussion...owthread.php?t=33574

According to his notes, it was using bottle 1% Phenolpthalein indicator (or other indicators as noted in the article).

So, 1% would be 1 gram for 100ml, or the equivalent ratio depending on your batch size.
