Hello Guys,
I am currently in the process of converting my 95 Dodge 2500 over to run on a 2-Tank system that is very similar to Sunwizard's.
I am taking pics as I go and I will post them very soon.
I just have a few quick questions.
I am trying to figure out the best way to splice into the steel fuel lines. Sun told me that the Fuel line is 3/8" and the return is 5/16".
Where can I get a 5/16" compression T Fitting locally??
Also, where should I T into the fuel lines. I am using manual valves mounted near my feet so I was thinking that would be a good place.

Thanks in advance Guys,
Zack Smith

Also, will a coolant temp gauge from Autozone reliably detect temp of VO??

Have you tried a local hardware or plumbing store for the compression fitting? I found mine in a "Fleet Farm" in the plumbing section.

Yes, almost any coolant temp gauge should work with the proper plumbing. I prefer the getting a cheap Cyberdyne digital, or Glow Shift digital gauge. First, they start reading at 70 F, which is nice when it can be -40 outside where I live. Second, the place of installation is not limited to the length of the lead, which is the case with most mechanical temp gauges that are sold in auto part stores.

KnoxBioBenz,
For anything hardware related I shop @ McMaster Carr online. They have most everything you could ever need and their delivery is very quick, at least for me. Good luck.

I purchased a digital temp gauge from the JCWhitney catalog for about $85 with the sender that I was thinking is a lot of money but it really does work good. I does not read until 70 degrees. But both of the ones I have work flawlessly and have for more than 3 years.
