Three pipelines have been permitted and are presently under construction, on schedule and on budget in a common corridor to move petroleum products to tidewater at Prince Rupert/Kitimat. The initial three pipelines will export natural gas, diluted oilsands crude, and the diluting solvent will be imported in the third pipeline. Any additional pipelines will be accommodated in this environmentally approved corridor. A refinery and petroleum crude upgrader is planned for Prince Rupert, so the dilutant can be stripped of there and piped back to FtMac. A tidewater refinery for finished products will also be more beneficial to Canadians that exporting crude oil.

As we speak we only have two pipelines approved 1 for PETRONAS lng to prince Rupert and the other Pacific Trail Pipeline to Kitimat that either will be shared by Shell Canada and Chevron or will be twined.
Lng is not as environmentally dangerous as Bitumen that is proposed for Enbridge as lng evaporates like propane when it leaks

Canadian Oil Feeds our families, puts a roof over their head, pays their taxes, and it's significantly cleaner than coal
If you don't like that, don't live here and benefit from all that Canadian oil which pays for universal health care, and revenue equalization among a confederation of provinces. A wise being does not bite the hand that feeds them.

I've been up there galt- I know how incredibly energy intensive sand tar is- they don't factor the 737s flying crew changes; heating, lighting and feeding thousands of people in camps, building the infrastructure, pipelines, refineries or refining in the EROEI ratio calculation.
Being that it takes so much coal, natural gas, jet fuel, diesel, acetylene, gasoline and propane to wrest the goo from sand, I'm fairly certain we're better off burning coal for electricity than sand tar-
Probably why sand tar is not used for electricity generation.
