True that - it's more spot on to say that you shouldn't use wood that could be recycled/used as building materials... of course it's way better to burn wood then fossil fuels

The wood that heats my house isn't suitable for other uses, it's salvaged deadfall. It displaces approximately 1000 gallons of heating fuel oil which would otherwise be used. It takes about 5-10 gallons of petrol to fuel the ATV and power saw to harvest the wood. Excellent EROI
