hey guys I thought I did everything right so far. I checked my 80l batch about 5 hours after processing and found white stringy type stuff floating around the top of the barrel. I must be missing something. Just to let you guys know I heated the WVO to 150 degress, then filter each five gallons twice. Then mixed five gallons of methanol and 560 grams of NaOH together and mixed with my WVO. Then stired my mixture for 5-10 minutes. Thought it was fool proof. I could really use some help guys!!

We need more details. in the five hours after processing what did you do?

5-10 minutes of mixing is not enough.

After 5 hours or so I posted this question, thats it. Just checked it this morning and the white stringy layer is roughly two inches thick. Underneath this layer the WVO starts clearing up. Hope its salvageable.
