We are thinking of racing a 1989 GMC Van (made to look like the A-Team) in this year's The 2904, Transcontinental Motorized Vehicular Tournament of Efficiency and Endurance. www.the2904.com
We originally were going to go with gas 350, but I have found a 6.2 diesel and thought it might be perfect to try to do a non-stop attempt on biodiesel. What would we have to do to make this happen? Does it sound feasible? Would the van go faster than 75mph with 2000 pounds of fuel? Would be a nice statement not to burn through a couple of hundred gallons of petrol. Thoughts? Thanks, John |
