If you want a Walbro FRB-5 fuel pump for your veggie side, tell me here. I will count up the amopunt of pumps we want, and call to see if I can get a better bulk discount. From ZippyPro, who gave me this info, if we order 5 at once they are $70 each, normally $94 each. I will try to get them to cut another $5 or $10 each off for 10-20 units. Reply with how many you want.

Hi B.K.

Do the Walbros all need to be same model or can they be mixed and still get the discount?

I'm not sure what PSI/flow the FRB-5 makes, but I need at least 23 GPM at 4-6 PSI, that's why I wanted to know if the bulkdeal was model specific or if they would still give the same price break on an order with a mix of models.

Here are some specs on the FRB-5.

http://www.autoperformanceengineering.com/html/fr_pumps.html

For $70 or less, I'd be interested. I'm currently running a 6065 (2 years and counting). It's a matter of time before it craps out.

OK, called VE Peterson (Al) and he said as long as we order 5 pumps or more, he will honor the "second level" pricing. Any F series pump. However, if you want a different model than the FRB-5, it may be more money, I will ave to call and ask. Anyway, unless someone can set up an account as a distributor for them, $70 is as cheap as they will go.

B.K.Hosken, has anyone tried this pump already?I'd be interested in a FRB 23 if this series is a reliable one.

How hard is it to set up a distributor account with them? Do they require a minumum initial purchase?

I am running a Walbro 6065, and it's doing well. The Walbro FRB-5 is the replacement pump for the 6065 since they don't make the 6065 anymore, and it's supposed to be a better pump. The pump place said they would give the discount on any F series pump, but some may be more than others. I know the FRB-5 is $70 plus shipping.

If you want a pump, paypal me $80 (that should cover shipping and price of the pump) my paypal email is bkhosken(at)yahoo(dot)com. I will order next week if I get at least 4 takers.

BK I don't want to usurp your thread, say the word and ill edit this post, but in the next few weeks well be coming out with a new pump for VO... Its an amazing design and well tested in the class 8 sector. We could do a group by on these if your interested. They will be considerably less than the FASS HPFP and as it looks now will carry a 6 year warranty.

It sounds good...the thread is all about getting a good pump at a good price, and if you are providing that then we can wait a little, assuming the old Walbro I have now doesn't die off in the meantime. PLEASE keep us posted!

B.K.Hosken,
What would be the price of the following?
1 unit FRD1 12v 20gph, 4.5-7psi with barbs

4 units FRB2 24v 43gph, 8-11 psi with barbs

Can those 5/16 barbs be changed to 3/8?
Thanks

I will call about the different type pump's prices, but to all the others, get your order in THIS WEEK unless you want to wait for Fossil Free Fuel's new fuel pump. I will be ordering the pumps this week if i can, so to get one you need to send me $80 Paypal to bkhosken(at)yahoo dot com, and make sure you include a shipping address. If you MUST send a money order/check, PM me and I will order an extra pump, but I won't ship until the check clears...Brain, I will see about the other pumps and PM you the info.

Hello,

I'm jumping in a bit late, but this sounds quite reasonable.

And, I found a similar pump on E-Bay for merely $180 (including a few hoses & etc).
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/SVO-WVO-ELECTRIC-BOOST-F...eZWD1VQQcmdZViewItem

I went ahead and sent the $80 PayPal.

I assume you will adjust the rates up or down appropriately depending on the actual final price.

I did notice on the page that you sent, the prices included shipping.
