Anyone doing this? I guess if you are running a hotwater furnace on SVO you could just plumb the pool into it but was wondering if there is some kind of other heater that could be used. I have a hotwater furnace but from what I have read so far it is quite difficult to convert a furnace such as mine. I heated my pool last year off my hotwater wood furnace but this year I am out of wood. Then I also have to consider house insurance. I'm sure they would not be pleased.

Any chance a propane hotwater heater such as in a camper would work? Probably not but thought I would ask anyway. I was thinking a burner with a pilot light setup mught be easier to convert. Perhaps that kind of a setup is worse to convert.

How about a oilfired hotwater heater? They any easier to convert then a furnace?
