Here are some photos of a hot air furnace project that will burn "waste" and bedding from our turkey barns. We use a lot of heat when the birds are small. This will save a lot of money and propane if it works.

Very interesting. What is and how long will it be before you realize your return on investment?

Does it have a starter flame to start the initial fire, then once hot enough, as long as fuel is put into the furnace, it will keep going?

The payback should be 3 to 5 years. A number of groups have chipped in money to get this project going.

A gas burner gets the combustion chamber hot before any fuel is introduced.
