Previously and still am a blender(for the time being anyways) I did my very first 1liter test batch yesterday morning and there doesnt seem to be very much glycerol/glycerin byproduct on the bottom, the biodiesel on top is clearing very nicely

This is what i used,
1 liter new soybean oil
250ml methanol
5 1/2g NaOH

Kept it heated for a few hours, until it appeared to have settled out all the way
Havent washed yet because i wanted to make sure i diddnt do anything wrong up to this point

I had very little glycerine too and used the exact amount of chemicals you did, mine looks good after 5 washes just a tad bit of white stuff on the bottom that I'm trying to figure out
