Hello,

I am still pretty new to making biodiesel, I have made several small batches with good results. I am currently trying to fine tweak the amount of lye to use. I use 93% pure KOH. I gathered the info from this site and it said use 3.5 x 1.4 for use with KOH, which is 4.9g. I was searching in the forums and found for 93% pure KOH I am suppose to use 7 - 7.5g of lye. Which is the right amount? I am still using new oil, so the amount of lye I am to use is the base. Any help would be greatly appriciated.
